At the Event: When your ticket or RFID wristband is scanned at venues, transport points, or the Ticket Exchange Desk.

Website: Automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you browse our website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the primary purpose of delivering a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed event. Specifically, we use your data to:

Process ticket sales, issue wristbands, and manage Event entry.

Communicate important Event updates, safety information, and transport schedules.

Send marketing communications, including our "Extend Your Stay" campaign and future event announcements (you may opt out of these at any time).

Analyse audience demographics (e.g., postcode data) and movement patterns (e.g., venue scanning data) to improve future event planning, transport logistics, and grant reporting.

Comply with our legal, regulatory, and insurance obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose your information to trusted third parties only to the extent necessary to deliver the Event:

Government & Grants: Aggregated, de-identified data (such as total attendee numbers and origin postcodes) may be shared with local councils or government bodies (e.g., Destination NSW) for grant reporting and economic impact analysis.
